IN LOVE WITH THE BUSH
We live life hands-on and to the fullest extent possible. Our passion for preserving the natural world drives many of our decisions in life. We prefer to be hands-on in nearly everything that we do. We also like to tackle property renovations as we have at Lost Leopard Lodge. Working together with our hands gives us a deep sense of satisfaction knowing that the job was done correctly and to high standards.

I’ve always enjoyed being in nature surrounded by the vegetation, sounds, and animals. My parents would take me to very remote areas in North America and that is where my sense of adventure began and realization that I didn't need all the "things" at home to truly have an amazing time and experience. Just being out in the bush, no matter what continent, can be such a healthy reset in a busy life. Andrew and I enjoy traveling to new places around the world. We kept being drawn back to the African bush and wanted to have a part in its conservation.

I am very passionate about the African wilderness, the lodge and the conservation efforts here at Welgevonden Game Reserve. The steps being taken by the Reserve towards endangered species conservation is nothing short of a success story. Courtney and I are excited to be a part of the conservation efforts and look forward to sharing it with others through the excellent facilities and opportunities for access to this wilderness.
